Of Sibyls and Source is a creative project that invites artists to connect with the geo-mythic and more than human realms.
Through roaming residencies and exhibitions we seek to build community and open conversations aimed to support artists and share ideas.
We facilitate listening, personal and collaborative research, and embodied making by engaging with story, land, and unseen forces.

Of Sibyls and Source : Performance in the Landscape Exhibition
June 2024
International Center for the Arts
Monte Castello di Vibio, Umbria, Italy
The work presented in this exhibition was the culmination of two weeks of intensive making in geo-mythic sites in Umbria, Italy. Led by residency creator Heather Lyon, and assisted by misael soto, collaborative documentarian, the artists hiked, performed and created individual and collaborative work within the sites of the Parco Nacional di Sibilline, the Grotta della Sibilla, the Gola dell’Infernaccio, Grotta di Frasassi, and the Nera River, all responding to the geographical history and the myth of the Apennine oracle. Live performances were held throughout the building.
